Commodore's Cruise 2008 Stourport, Severn and Stourbridge.
|
| The very strong wind made mooring very dififcult, but we all managed to tie up on the pontoons eventually. Stourport Yacht Club kindly hosted the cruise meal on the Monday night. The food was cooked by Lee and Barbara of The Olive Tree. After the meal, we joined members of SYC for a drink or two in the bar. The weather improved slightly as we left on Tuesday, but the blue sky in the picture reflected the optimism we felt for the rest of the week. |

| It was not too difficult to drink champagne and hold a brolly! Most seemed rather good at it.
Eating the cakes and scones was easily manged too. |
